Recruitment Information

Hello All Potential New Members, 

I hope you all are having a great summer break.  I am Tyler Torres and I will be handling our fraternity's recruitment efforts this semester.  Below is a tentative schedule of our recruitment events and activities.  We encourage you to come out to as many events as possible and if you have a friend that may be considering joining a fraternity here at VCU, we would like the opportunity to get to meet them as well.

During formal recruitment, I strongly encourage all potential new members to meet as many fraternities as possible.  This will ensure that you get a good idea of what each fraternity is about and it will aid you in making a decision of which fraternity is best for you. 

The events below are FREE to our potential new members, so come out and meet our brothers.  Our Be True Info Q&A Sessions will allow us to answer any questions you may have regarding fraternity life at VCU.  We will discuss the ideals that our fraternity is built upon as well as common misconceptions and FAQ's associated with being greek.

On a personal note, one important thing that allows SAE to stand out among the rest of fraternities at VCU is that approximately 98% of our brothers had stated they would have never joined a fraternity after high school.  I personally was one of those people.  Once I had met all of the brothers at VCU and some from chapters at other schools, I concluded that I wanted to be among those individuals.  Just the caliber of people that make up SAE crushed every ancient stereotype that I could imagine which compelled me to pledge my honor to SAE.
